NEW FACTORY

Thai Freeze Dry is scheduled to be operating from its new modern factory by the end of this month. It will be great to be working from a facility that is specifically designed for our needs. The factory is located at L.I.R. Industrial Park in BanThi (between Chiang Mai city and Lamphun.) We are just one kilometer of good roads from the main highway to Bangkok. This is the route that truck and container shipments travel from the North of Thailand to the seaport in Bangkok and so our location could not be more convenient or cost- effective in terms of shipping.

Our location is a key to the high potency of our products. Our logo: “Thai Farm Fresh” sums it all up. The time from harvest to processing is critical. The moment agricultural produce is harvested it begins to loose potency. Literally, within hours, the chemical compounds, enzymes and other live elements are breaking down. We are at the source of our agricultural produce where we can begin the freeze dry process while our products are still farm fresh. Another huge advantage in being at the source is our ability to coordinate the harvest and shipments of produce to our factory with the production cycle of our freeze dry machines.

If one was to build a large and most efficient freeze dry facility in Padunk, Iowa (U.S.A.) or, I would venture to say even as close as Bangkok, by the time the produce reached the freeze dry facility the potency and value of these precious herbs would be largely lost to time. Our location is a key to our quality.

We have new machines to wash the produce as it comes into the facility. Our Italian made tumbling washer removes all dirt and impurities from the surface and penetrates deep into all pores and crevices.

The mangosteen rind and noni fruit need to be sliced just before going into the freeze dry machines. The thin slices and increased surface area result in faster processing time and greater efficiency. Our brand new U.S. made slicer with automatic feed will provide fast and consistent slices. Once dried, our new pin mill (grinding machine) will powderize the product for encapsulation.

Working with all our new state-of-the-art equipment is really exciting for us. Our new factory is laid out for maximum efficiency and we have planned ample room for the expansion that we know will be forthcoming.

We invite all our friends and customers to visit us at our new facility. We are just 16 kilometers by superhighway from the center of Chiang Mai. You can enjoy incredible Chiang Mai and visit with us. Our staff will be most happy to help you make any arrangements you may need to make your stay here comfortable and enjoyable.

Thai Farm Fresh

At Thai Freeze Dry Co., Ltd. our goal is to achieve peek potency for all of our products. We have worked closely with our suppliers of raw material to ensure that we receive only the freshest produce and begin the freeze dry process while potency is still at its highest possible level.

Working with our suppliers has also given us knowledge and ideas about the cultivation of our products. With this knowledge we have decided to cultivate our own fruits and herbs to ensure quality and availability, especially as some of our products are difficult to propagate, are seasonal and not always available. Jiaogulan, being the most difficult of our products to cultivate, is our main focus as it is taking up most of our resources and time to make sure this amazing herb is freeze dried while it is mature and at peak potency.

Our farm is set below the foothills of Lamphun, just outside Chiang Mai Thailand and is located on 8 rai (12,800 square meters) of property, which is in walking distance to our production factory. We have taken great care to set conditions just right for each of our products and have been very meticulous about our soil and seedlings.

We invite you to come and see our operation for yourself anytime you are in or around northern Thailand. Just use the info on our home page to contact us anytime.
